Jan's Artwork
JAS Havanese
Jan's artwork was chosen to use as the logo for the Havanese National 2007
Now that the National has been held, we'll give the name of the pretty Havanese used for the logo. She's
Karli, Ch. SandCastle’s Heart’s Desire RN proudly owned by Charlene Wallace.
Jan was asked to create a logo for the Red River Havanese Club. A background had already been made and Jan was given the choice to work with it or
create her own. It was too beautiful not to incorporate into the logo. Colors were changed, the lines in the water removed, clouds moved, more added to
the bottom and right and we had a background that would work and still preserve the beautiful original work.

After that work, the background was cut into pieces so that she could get the shapes she was looking for. Then she drew the Havanese, put the pieces
of the background back together and added the curved text. The initial background pictured below the logo was created by Diane Washabaugh who is
with the Red River Havanese Club and is a talented artist.

The logo started with this image, and Jan worked from there.
She knew nothing about this dog at the time but it was
offered for use and fit beautifully in the concept she had.
Here is a before and after of another Havanese image Jan worked on.
Another before and after of a pretty Havanese
These are photos from Lisa at Esplendor Havanese. She had a pretty picture of her backyard and needed something to really showcase the memory of
her girl. Some of her plants were changed and a bridge was added to make a more flattering picture of her girl in the new image. They're thumbnails and
can be clicked on for a larger image.
